Stretching across the width of its site above a Bel-Air canyon, this dazzling new home by Zoltan E. Pali, FAIA, is visually closed off from the street behind a monolithic, curving wall of vertical panels– but open to the view on the canyon side with four stacked levels with sliding glass walls, culminating in an enclosed, private roof terrace.
All four levels are connected by an elevator, with spaces arranged along the almost uninterrupted wall of glass as well as an interior hallway parallel to the street, creating a modern variation on the traditional enfilade.
Pali’s firm, SPF: architecture is a global, multidisciplinary firm with notable public projects, multi-unit luxury dwellings in and around LA, plus a collection of amazing private projects like the Orum Residence.
With its high ceilings and clerestory windows, the main kitchen off the living area is augmented by service areas throughout the house for easy entertaining.
More: Go to the listing for additional images and details. Represented by Aaron Kirman of AKG|Christie’s and Angelo Fierro at Compass, this exceptional property is open February 26 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
